Today, our Monday Member Spotlight is featuring Anna Grace Currie. Anna Grace served 3 months this summer as a construction AmeriCorps member with Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity.
Anna Grace’s favorite part of serving was “learning new skills while helping the community”.
While serving Anna Grace has learned how to use a ratchet strap properly, cut and place trim, use power tools, build decks and ramps, and much more.
When specifically asked about what it was like to serve at a Habitat for Humanity she said, “Involvement in the community and sense of "family"”.
